Kalainyar Managaram launched by CM

August 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Dreams have come true for hundreds of film technicians in Tamil film industry as they’ll finally have their own houses allotted by State Government. Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi launched the foundation lying ceremony for film technicians yesterday morning.

This scheme is all about State Government building houses for 15, 000 employees of film industry. The occasion saw coming together of superstars Rajnikanth, Mammooty, Bollywood’s most famous actor Jithendra, South Indian Artists Association President Sarath Kumar, veteran filmmaker K. Balachandar and many others from film industry.

Addressing the crowd, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said that hundreds of set decorators, who have erected magniloquent sets never, had a house of their own. Indeed, such factors urged Kalainyar to propose this scheme.

The event was attended by many other film technicians, actors and union ministers.
