January 25, 2011 : Yamuna, the popular actress who has been seen in many films and serials and was well appreciated for her roles in popular daily soaps has reportedly been caught red handed in a prostitution racket.
The actress was reportedly amongst a big group of such racketeers caught red handed at a high end hotel in Bangalore recently.
There were search operations in the middle of the night and when there was a large crowd, it was quite shocking for most to see that the popular actress who was considered to be quite a simple person by her colleagues was also amidst the other girls into the racket.
Yamuna has been well appreciated in many films like Mouna Poratam which was very popular in the 1990’s. After which she has acted in about 20 films or so with equal appreciation from the audiences. The actress was reportedly quite busy with all her shooting schedules making her travel from Karnataka to Hyderabad and back most of the time.
Yamuna’s most loved character on the small screen is that of Roji, in the serial ‘Vidhi’.The other popular serial in which this actress was well appreciated is ‘Agnigundam’.
The shocking thing about the actress found in such a racket was that she never seemed to be of those kinds and everyone in the south film industry to the television circuit are speechless after the unfold of events.
