April 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): After Master Kishen’s Care of Footpath aimed for the Guinness World Record, Master Chiranjeevi starrer Ekameva is trying to get an entry to the coveted place.
11-year-old Master Chiranjeevi pulled four different looks in the film, playing different ages like a 9-year-old, a 25-year-old, a 50-year-old and an 80-year-old. He is the only character in Ekameva. Directed and produced by Pravinkumar, the film’s makeup man was Samir Jookar, who is the makeup man for Hema Malini. This is his first time working in a Kannada film. He has prepared different masks for Master Chiranjeevi and it took four hours to put on Chiranjeevi’s makeup.
They shot for 15 days in Kadiernahalli and Rs.7 lakhs was spent on make up for the four get ups. The subject of the film is about how a neglected boy educates himself and comes up in life.
Sundarnath Suvarana Nagaraj D’s assistant has done the independent camera work with a super 16 mm camera. He has added some technical effects to increase the height of the young boy Master Chiranjeevi onscreen.
Debutante music composer Salim Putthur has scored the music for seven songs but out of them only four will be found in the movie. Kailash Kher has sung two of the songs. The album also consists of songs by LN Shastry, Master Ajay Bharadwaj, Kumari Hiranmayi.
