Everything has to be perfect when shooting with this timeless beauty. So when she had to do a cover shoot for Filmfare, they scouted throughout Mumbai to find a premium location. They settled on the Sofitel Mumbai BKC which has an aesthetic ambience that seemed perfect for this occasion.

It blends the best that French culture has to offer artfully with Indian hospitality. It is the haute spot for the glam world right now. Guests are promised a luxury experience like no other.

The hotel has been designed just like a French villa and the Imperial suite is the best place for shoots. It has also been host to scenes from a number of Bollywood movies. That was a good enough reason for Aishwarya to get clicked there.

When asked what she had to say about being considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, said that beauty shouldn’t be gender specific. It can be seen in anything. It goes far beyond the obvious. It is what lies within which can actually stand the test of time. That is what beauty really is. It is all about what’s within and the core. The superficial stuff is all transient.

On being asked about her role as Dalbir Kaur in Sarabjit she said that it was clear from the start that the only reason she was taking up the part was because the directors believed she could do justice to it and not because she looked like Kiranjit or Dalbir. She took the example of Provoked and said that they didn’t replicate everything from photographs there and weren’t going to here either.

When being asked whether it was easy for her to detach from the character she has been playing for a while she said that she always knew she had a life to come back to as a mother. She would probably have ended up living with her work if she was single and staying alone. But with the whirlwind life she leads, she doesn’t get a chance. She’s full throttle onto her next role straight away.
