Shreemati is nearing completion as two of its schedules are already over. There would be only one more schedule expected to be abroad for shooting the remaining scenes and a few songs. Upendra has penned down story, screenplay and dialogues while Sampath is directing the flick. Upendra’s wife Priyanka and Bollywood’s glam-doll Celina would be playing the lead roles as heroines.
The film is said to be a remake of Bollywood super-hit flick Aitraaz in which Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor played the lead heroines while Akshay Kumar played the lead actor. Abbas Mastan had directed the Hindi version. Celina would be seen in the role being essayed by Priyanka Chopra in Aitraaz. Priyanka Chopra also won a Filmfare Award for her brilliant performance in the film.
We would have to wait and see whether Celina Jaitley too succeeds in earning the appreciation and accolades for her performance in the film.
