January 12, 2011 : The latest reports suggest that the release rights of director Selvaraghavan’s latest film Irandam Ulagam, has been acquired by UTV Motion Pictures. This movie will first time seen the pairing of Dhanush and Andrea.
Irandam Ulagam tells the story of a couple played by Dhanush and Andrea. The film has a very interesting tagline, ‘He is not perfect and she has a past. Perfect wedding?’ The tagline clearly indicates that the movie will elaborate the marital relationships.
The film is being produced by Kasthuri Raja, father of Dhanush. The film is almost complete and is progressing quietly. It started four years ago with initially taking photos of Karthi and Sandhya. However, things changed after two years and the lead actors were replaced by Dhanush and Andrea. But it was again shelved for some time until Aayirathil Oruvan failed to attract the viewers at the Box office.
Music by Yuvanshankar Raja is going to be the highlight of the movie Irandam Ulagam. Cinematography is done by Ramji and Kola Bhaskar has done the editing. It is the second film of Dhanush after Aadukalam, which has been acquired by UTV Motion Pictures.
