Vishaal and Shriya are playing the lead in ‘Pista’ directed by Sabha Ayyappa and produced by Vikram Krishna on the banner of GK Film Corporation. Presently the film is shooting in Hyderabad. Speaking to the media, Vishaal says, ‘This is my second straight film in Telugu and first in the combination of Shriya.
A youth comes to the city from a village in search of his elder brother. What he did in the city is the basic subject. Though the storyline appears very simple, the treatment of the film would be quite different and novel. It is an out and out entertainer. There are several comedy scenes and the audiences would have a hearty laugh. For the first time, I am doing a full time role with complete comedy touch. So far we have shot the film for 35 days.
We have plans to choreograph a song at Ladakh. We are planning to launch the audio on April 21 and release the film on May 14.’ Prakashraj, Ali, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagawan, Srinivasa Reddy, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Chitram Sreenu, Duvvasi Mohan, Surya, Annapurna, Telangana Sakuntala and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Sashank, lyrics are by Ananta Sriram and Sahiti, music is by Manisharma, camera is by Priyan, while editing is by VT Vijayan
