December 20, 2010 : Telugu supernatural thriller ‘Nagavalli’ has been declared a hit in the United States. According to reports in the media, the Venkatesh starrer, which had opened to great expectations in theaters across South India has also been generating good business in more than 50 states across the US. ‘Nagavalli’ is reported as a sequel of the 2005 Tamil release ‘Chandramukhi’. It is a supernatural horror flick which tells the story of a family living in Tirupati who start experiencing unusual incidents after a portrait of the goddess Nagavalli reach their house.
If reports in the media are to be believed, ‘Nagavalli’ has been running to packed theaters in America since the 16th of December when it first started playing. Several people are watching the movie for its entertaining horror content. In spite of being a horror flick, ‘Nagavalli’ is being touted as a family film. The general public in the US are braving the cold and are queuing up in long lines in front of theaters showing ‘Nagavalli’, which is a very positive response for the makers of the film.
The production team and the actors in ‘Nagavalli’ had worked hard and had high expectations from their film. Therefore they are overjoyed by the fact that ‘Nagavalli’ has been declared a hit. Most of the critical acclamation has been reserved for actor Venkatesh who has performed wonderfully in his double role for ‘Nagavalli’.
