Actor Munna Goes Bald For Raavanan

Published on

June 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Tamil cinema has seen many actors going bald for playing specific characters. Now, it is the turn of the Tamil actor Munna to tonsure his head, for Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan.

Munna plays a very important supporting role, where he is required to shave his head clean. A source close to the project informs, “Although he has a small role in Raavanan, this particular scene of him going bald, is a very emotional one and would change track of the film.”

In Raavana, Munna essays the role of the younger brother of Vikram. The source added, “He is keenly awaiting the release of the film as he thinks it is a role of a lifetime for him. He is also grateful to Mani Ratnam for offering him such a role.”

Munna, whose initial films were super flops, is expecting a good review from the critics too.

We hope his tonsuring does not go waste and he is noticed in the film by the viewers and the critics alike.
