May 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Arjun is a very busy man at the moment. The South actor director, who is also named by his numerous fans as the ‘Action King’ for the many action roles that he has played, is currently busy with the four of his films Vande Mataram, Massi, Vallakottai and Mei Kaan.
Reportedly, the Action King has been approached by Babu Sivan to act in his next movie. Babu, after proving his worth with his commercial hit movie Vettaikkaran, is now ready with a new concept. This next film of his is to be an action flick.
Apparently, Babu had first approached Bharat with the story. But, Bharat at this point in his career didn’t want to do this film. It is being said that the actor had issues with doing a double role at this point and the film required him to do just that.
It was then that the director narrated the story to Arjun. The actor, known for doing action films, loved the story and thought that it was just the kind of role that he would love to do. Though Arjun has not yet given any fixed dates because he is busy with his current projects and can start a new one only when these are completed.
In the meanwhile, Babu is ready to wait. He claims that this movie would be just as good as Arjun’s Gentleman. Well, we hope Babu Sivan will be able to do that.
