The audio launch of Iyengar IPS was held on the evening of 22nd December at Green House. The flick is being directed by Chanakya and politician H. Ravindra is playing the lead character of a police officer who takes on a group of dons. Jayamal, president of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC), released the audio while Govindoo, treasurer of the KFCC was the chief guest.
Iyengar IPS is the story of an Iyengar man who struggles hard to become an IPS officer. K. Manju has captured the movie in his camera. Kodandaraman has penned down the screenplay and dialogues. Sangeetha Raja has composed the music. The film has Dharma, Shobharaj and Srinivasa Murthy in the lead roles. Puttaraju, who was a Deputy Mayor of BMP, is playing the role of Inspector General of Police in this film produced by Saroja Jayaram.
