Censor Board Gives ‘A’ Certificate To RGV’s ‘Raktha Charithram’

November 29, 2010 : ‘Raktha Charitram’, probably the most awaited film from Ram Gopal Verma’s production house in the present, has come under the scanner of the censor board. According to a statement released by the producers of ‘Raktha Charitram’, the film will be released in theaters across South India next month, albeit with a few editions. Reports circulating in the media suggest that it is because of the intense violence shown in the film that the censor board has decided to award ‘Raktha Charitram’ an adult certificate.

‘Raktha Charitram’ was prepared in two halves, the first part being released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi in the month of October this year. Both the Bollywood and Kollywood versions of the Ram Gopal Verma movie were a huge success at the box office. And it is expected that the second part too will bring in big money for Ram Gopal Verma. If reports are to be believed, ‘Raktha Charitram 2’ will be released with three cuts from the original film prepared by Ram Gopal Verma and will come armed with an ‘A’ rating.

The whole of Tamil Nadu is eagerly waiting for the release of the second part of ‘Raktha Charitram’ because it also means seeing their favorite actor Suriya on screen yet again. The ‘Raktha Charitram’ films is the Kollywood actor Suriya’s first foray into Bollywood.
