Devi Sri Prasad Finds Kamal Haasan’s Voice Outstanding!

Published on

November 22, 2010 : Devi Sri Prasad, the popular music composer of the South Indian film industry, is all excited about the audio launch ceremony of his latest film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. And it is not the fact that the event is to be held at Singapore which makes the composer all gung-ho, Devi Sri Prasad is thrilled because this is his first film with Kamal Haasan as singer. In a statement to the media, Devi Sri Prasad says that he had always been a huge fan of Kamal Haasan’s voice. Though the audience is more acquainted with his acting skills, Devi Sri Prasad states that his singing talents have not yet been tapped to the fullest, and also hopes that he has done justice to Kamal Haasan the singer in his film ‘Manmadhan Ambu’.

The Tamil film music album is special for Devi Sri Prasad in more ways than one. Not only does the composer have on board, Kamal Haasan singing and dancing to his tracks, ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is also the composer’s first romantic album for the Tamil film industry. Yes, concedes Devi Sri Prasad, confirming that he had earlier composed for a number of romantic tracks in Telugu films, but this is his first brush with romance in Tamil. Though the ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ album is not his first composition for a Tamil language film, his earlier Tamil tracks were more towards the peppy side.

Devi Sri Prasad will participate in the launch of the music launch of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ through a live performance which also features his favorite singer Kamal Haasan crooning to the tracks.
