A big battle ensued between the media and the team of Jogaiah on Sunday evening at the Taj West End Hotel over the use of ‘The Legend of Underworld’ as the subheading for the film.
Jogaiah, which is Shivarajakumar’s 100th film, faced flak for using the word ‘legend’ to mean a member of the underworld. The media argued that using ‘legend’ for antisocial elements like the underworld members is like insulting those people who are indeed great and legendary. Prem, the director, asked the media to comment on this only after they watch the film. The media suggested an alteration, ‘Jogaiah…The Legend’. The lead actor of the film, Shivarajakumar, promised to think over the issue.
Meanwhile, Prem revealed that the lead actress of the film would be a Mumbai heroine. The film will be shot in seven locations and the film will start rolling on April 24th, Dr. Rajakumar’s birthday.
Shivarajakumar thanked his family, friends, and the Kannada industry for supporting him enough for him to reach his career’s 100th film. Rakshitha, Prem’s wife and the producer of the film, who was launched as an actress in Shivarajakumar’s film, has earlier expressed the embarrassment she faced as she handed Shivarajakumar’s signing amount for the film to his wife.
