April 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Komal Kumar, who is known for his comic timing, will be playing the lead in Nandisha. Nandisha started rolling on Friday at Dharmasthala. The film will be shot in Mangalore for 25 days.
Directed by Prabhakar, a long time associate director of famous director P Vasu and RV Udayakumar, the film is his first independent directorial venture. He has been assistant director for the Kannada film Hosa Love Story and worked with P Vasu recently for Aptha Rakshaka. The story of the film has been penned by both Prabhakar and Komal. The film will feature two heroines.
Produced by Komal’s wife, Anasooya Komal Kumar under the banner of Soundarya Lahari Combines, the music of the film is composed by Gunakumar.
