August 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Megastar Mammootty is again appearing as himself in another Malayalam film Best of Luck, directed by M. A. Nishad. Mammootty will appear in a cameo role and he has completed the shooting of his portions.
The megastar earlier appeared in a cameo role in 2007 movie Katha Parayambol, where he played the megastar himself. The other cast of the movie Best of Luck includes Asif Ali, Kailash, Archana Kavi, Urvashi, and Rima Kallingal in important roles.
The sources informed that Mammootty reported on the sets in Kochi recently to shoot his part. The movie Best of Luck falls in the drama genre, in which veteran Tamil actor Prabhu plays a rich entrepreneur named Vinayaka Naickar and his step brother’s role is played by Kailash. Asif will be seen playing a budding filmmaker. Prabhu has a double role in the movie.
A and M Entertainment Company has produced the movie, which has music by the Euphoria band and its lead vocalist Dr Palash Sen. Sanjeev Shankar has done the cinematography and the director has written the film himself. The film is slated to release in September.
