July 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Much prior to Murugadoss making official confirmations on his next project 7 AUM Arivu, the calls on airs were about this film being inspired from Hollywood’s recent release Inception. Nonetheless, the filmmaker was infuriated with such false reports and made a reasonable statement about impossibilities of copycatting a film before its release.
But to a surprising extent, here’s an interesting buzz from the closer sources that connects A. R. Murugadoss’ 7 AUM ARIVU and Inception.
It seems that the complete second half is about a group of 5 scientists venturing into a speculative project, somewhat like a heist. One of those scientists will be Shruthi Haasan, the female lead character of this film while a famous character artist is reported of being roped to play the role of another scientist accompanying the protagonist Suriya.
Wow! That’s quite interesting, isn’t? If this turns to be a confirmed fact, obviously A. R. Murugadoss must be appreciated for sharing commonalities in conceptualizing similar ideas with Christopher Nolan, just as it happened with Mementoes.
