May 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Ranjit Shankar, one of the most promising directors of Malayalam cinema, is set to begin shooting for his next film Arjunan Sakshi.

Ranjith has now cast young superstar Prithviraj in the role of a young architect Roy Mathew. He has selected talented actress Padmapriya to play the female lead opposite Prithviraj.

Apart from Prithvi and Padmapriya, Arjunan Sakshi will also star Jagathy Sreekumar, Vijayaraghavan, Lalu Alex and Asif Ali in important roles.

The camera will be handled by P Sukumar while Ranjan Abraham would be in charge of editing. The story, script and dialogues of the film have been written by the director himself.

It’s not just the star cast that is impressive but also a capable technical crew and an innovative director are backing the project. At this rate, Arjunan Sakshi will be one of the most anticipated films of 2010 and already carries the weight of expectations.
