The journalist turned director Sadashiva Shenoy Kannada film ‘Prarthane’ will be giving a treat for audience as the most versatile actor Ananthnag and top ranking four times national award winner Prakash Raj come face to face and offer significant performances. The two top actors play ‘Guru and Shishya’.

Prakash Raj happens to be a student of acting with actor Ananth Nag. This raises the acting bar to a higher level in a very short time. According to director Sadashiv Shenoy, this is a part of ‘Prarthane’ as a film on the whole. Historical dialogues from freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna have been assigned to Prakash Raj.

Prakash Raj and Ananth Nag have acted together a few years ago, wherein Prakash Raj played Ananth Nag’s son in the film ‘Preethi Prema Prayana’

‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ now Prakash Raj’s debut direction is half way of shooting; besides jointly producing the film with B Suresh. He repeats his performance from Tamil and Telugu films (Abiyum Naanum and Akashamantha).
