Marupadiyum Oru Kaadal is a beautiful love story revolving around a Tamil boy and a Sinhalese girl. The story of the film transcends political frontiers. The film also marks the debut of the director Vasu Bhaskar, actor Anirudh and actress Josna in the Tamil films.
Where Anirudh has previously worked in Malayalam movies, Josna is the daughter of actress Saroja, who had made her debut in Tamil films in 1980’s. The director has himself scripted the flick. Kannan is the cinematographer while the music has been composed by Sreekanth Deva. The film is going to be shot in Chennai, Pondicherry and also in some European countries.
