Shruti Haasan Likely To Star Opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin In Her Next!

Published on

December 1, 2010 : Actress Shruti Haasan will next be seen in a romantic comedy with Udhayanidhi Stalin as her male lead which will reportedly be directed by the master of comedies in the Tamil film industry, M Rajesh. Though media reports are rife about the upcoming romantic flick, a representative of actress Shruti Haasan has refused to give any final confirmation on her association with the project. The representative was of the opinion that the actress is still in talks with M Rajesh and nothing has been finalized as of yet!

But if reports from the Kollywood industry are to be believed, the Udhayanidhi – Shruti Haasan starrer will be named ‘Nanbaenda’ after the phrase was made famous from M Rajesh’s earlier superhit flick ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’. The same reports also claim that M Rajesh had chosen a different name for his romantic comedy earlier, but it was the huge success of ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ which inspired him to title a movie after a phrase used in the Tamil flick. The previously suggested title of ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ has been done away with and certain changes have also been made in the script of the upcoming romantic comedy.

If reports are to be believed, M Rajesh has added and omitted portions to the script of ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’, the result being that now the heroine will share equal screen space with the hero. Therefore this also means that Shruti Haasan and co-star Udhayanidhi Stalin are on the same plane in ‘Nanbaenda’.
