Directed by JD Chakravarthy and produced by Kirankumar Koneru under the banner of Shreya Productions, ‘Homam’ with Jagapatibabu and Sindhu Menion in the lead is all set for release on February 12. Speaking on the occasion, the director says, ‘This is the second film in our combination with ‘Homam’ being the first film.
In this film, Jagapatibabu played the role of a super cop. We prepared the story based on the real life stories of police offices like Dayanayak, P Sitaramanjanjaneyulu and others. It is the story of a police officer who is ready to kill or die. The hero openly declares, ‘Doctors provide medi-care, engineers build, but I am a killer.’ At the same time, the film doesn’t mean that it is a film of murders and killings.
There is a lot of difference from the police stories that appeared on the Telugu screen. The hero feels that attacking villain is his duty but he will not develop any personal enmity. It is a very good story. At the same time there are no songs in this flick. The heroine’s character was also molded well and her character too had an equal importance in the film. The film will have comedy which we experience in our day-to-day life. Our film highlights that it might be easy to die but not that easy to kill.’ While Suman Varma is the production designer, music is by Amar Mohili, camera is by Bharani K Dharan, and editing done is by Bhanodaya.
