Mammootty starrer ‘Pramaani’ which was supposed to have actress Kavya Madhavan playing the female lead will now star Sneha opposite Mammootty. Her role is that of a Panchayat Secretary who suddenly gains importance in the life of a Panchayat President, a corrupt man, played by Mammootty.
The script is by B. Unnikrishnan (who wrote ‘Madambi’). Produced by B.C. Joshy, the movie will be released by Playhouse. The team had last done the box-office hit, ‘Thuruppugulan’ together.
Another project, that has the duo, ‘Vande Mataram’, is in the final production stage. ‘Pramaani’ will start shooting in the first week of January.
