November 18, 2010 : The whole of Kollywood is abuzz with the news of the lip lock shared between actors Anuya and Sundar C for their upcoming film ‘Nagaram’. According to reports in the media, not only is the kiss one of the hottest moments ever shot for a Kollywood venture, it is also the longest lip lock shared between the lead actors of a Kollywood film. Hence, it can safely be said that ‘Nagaram’ has already made a record of sorts even before the film has hit theaters in South India!
In a statement to the media, Sundar C, the male lead of ‘Nagaram’ and also its director, has said that the kiss is a very important moment in the film and is also crucial to the progress in the storyline of ‘Nagaram’. Echoing his statement is Anuya, the female lead who says that though the media reports claim the lip lock as one of the longest in the history of Kollywood cinema, it is nothing to be talked about because a kiss on the lip is a very common thing that every couple shares.
Anuya has established a name for herself in the Kollywood industry as a heroine who is comfortable with the so-called hot scenes onscreen, considering that she has already shot for such scenes for an earlier venture ‘Madurai Sambavam’.
