The birth anniversary celebrations of legendary actor Dr Rajkumar saw thousands of fans flogging in at their favorite film star’s residence in Bangalore.
The fans appeared dressed as characters portrayed by the veteran actor including mythological ones and several performances of Raj’s famous scenes were done.
A huge cake was cut by the actors three sons Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra and Puneet Rajkumar before Raj’s fans. A special event was organized by his family on the occasion and three famous personalities, including director Bhagwan, and artists Shivaram and Shantamma, were felicitated in recognition of their contribution to the industry. A special screening of the megastars hit movies was also held.
The fans then gathered at the Dr Raj Memorial at Kanteerava Studios in Bangalore and cut yet another huge cake. The Dr Rajkumar Fan’s Association also conducted eye donation, and blood camps with free check ups at the venue.
The police found it immensely difficult to control the huge fan gathering.
