Time For A Change Says Sibi Malayil

July 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Veteran Malayalam film director Sibi Malayil said that a radical change is needed if the local movie industry wishes to foray into the future. His latest venture entitled Apoorva Ragam has just been released.

He wishes to see more and more new faces coming up in the Malayalam movie industry in every sections of film making. He wanted fresh talents in every section, starting with acting to technicians. He is happy, since his latest venture could achieve that.

Newcomers like Asif, Nishan, and Nithyahave been given very important roles in the film. G.S. Anand and Najeem Koya, two relatively fresh script-writers have handled the script for the film. Malayil recently finished his 25-years in the industry as a complete director. Apoorva Ragam is his 41st film as director.

Some of the popular movies of Sibi Malayil include Thaniyavarthenam, Kireedom, Chenkol, Ishtam, His Highness Abdulla and he has directed big names from the industry like Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, and Dileep amongst others.
