During the promotion of Vettaikkaran, actor Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay made an announcement that he would be seen in a Malayalam movie soon. He stated that all he needs is to agree with a story and a director. He also has no remuneration issues for his Malayalam debut.

Vijay was in Thiruvananthapuram for the hundred days’ celebration of his film, Pokkiri. Thousands of fans showed up at the theatre.

Last week, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth had landed up in the capital to surprise his fans from Kerala. He was there to shoot a song for his film, Endhiran.
