Abhishek, Surya And Obama: Who Will Win The Friday Fight?

Published on

November 30, 2010 : The Box Office will witness an interesting fight this week among three Bollywood movies. This Friday, Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey will hit the big screen. But the movie will be facing a tough competition as Surya starrer Rakta Charitra – Part II is also releasing this Friday.

Apart from these two serious kinds of films, viewers will also have a choice to go for a laugh riot with Subhash Kapoor’s Phas Gaye Re Obama. It stars Neha Dhupia, Rajat Kapoor and Amol Gupte in important roles.  It deals with the after effects of global meltdown.

The Part-I of Rakta Charitra has received good response from the viewers so the second movie also has big expectations in store. On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan will seen in a very different role in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, which is about the long forgotten Chittagong uprising. Ashutosh Gowariker has also deglamorized the glamour girl Deepika in this movie. Her sari clad avatar has already attracted many eyeballs. It is yet another period drama of Gowariker but it tells a story, which was never told before in Indian cinema. Abhishek will play the freedom fighter Surjya Sen.

Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakta Charitra – Part II will take ahead the life story of the slain political leader Paritala Ravi.

Each of the three movies is quite different in its way so it all depends on the taste of the viewers. One thing is sure, none of the movie will disappoint the viewers.
