Akshay Kapoor was detained at the London airport for literally five hours. The actor was on his way to Scotland via London to shoot for Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Three’ wherein he stars with Aashish Chowdhry and Nausheen Ali Sardar.
We hear that due to some miscommunication, he got held up by the London airport authorities and was interrogated for quite a while until he was recognized by a fan as a Bollywood Actor.
Well, what was to happen after that…All hell broke lose when everyone at the airport started crowding around and started clicking pictures with Akshay and asking for autographs.
“I told them I was here for a film project and there were some visa formalities that had to be sorted out. I was completely taken by surprise at the crowds’ reaction†said the actor smilingly.
So much for being a potential suspect we say.
