She is going to take up the role of a mentor in Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket, a reality show on 9X. She however doesn’t have the details of the part she would be dealing with in the show.

The show is about finding new talents and Amrita would teach the participants to not go by any text book and try to do something new and creative. She has no misconception of her character in the role. She is clear that one can never convince someone else to follow his or her way of life. She says she would be like a teacher or coach. Amrita is positive that there is no dearth of young talents in India. Her last avatar in television was as Nitya Nanda, in Kkavyanjali. She played the role of a manipulative mother.

Amrita had bid a goodbye to television but she says it is different to be on a reality show. To be on a daily soap requires a lot of time which goes on and on but reality shows get over after a point of time with the announcement of a winner. She has been in the industry for over 25 years and she says she understands the format of searching for new talents.

While shows like Shah Rukh’s Kya aap Panchvi Paas Se Tej Hain is going off the air soon due to low TRP, we hope her come back to TV proves a good decisions for her.
