“Hrithik has been a true friend from the start. He not only did that cameo in Zoya’s Luck By Chance he also agreed to accommodate Zoya’s new film. I start directing Don 3 from September 2010. And Zoya’s film had to be completed before that. Hrithik adjusted his dates accordingly.”
Male bonding has always been a strong theme in Farhan’s career as a director and actor.
“That’s true,”
admits Farhan.
“But no one will say Zoya’s film with me, Hrithik and Abhay will is in any way similar to my Dil Chahta Hai or to Rock On. Zoya’s is a different zone of male bonding. I’ve done just one scene with Hrithik in Zoya’s Luck By Chance. Now I’ve a chance to do a whole film with him. Both Hrithik and Abhay are actors I admire greatly.”
