The feeling of joy was felt in the air. It was celebration time and that was pretty apparent at Love Aaj Kal’s press conference held at PVR Pheonix Mills.
A trade analyst present at the event said, ” It was the launch and first look of the most eagerly awaited and looked forward film —Illuminati Film’s Love Aaj Kal.” Love Aaj Kal hits the theatres on 31st July.
The film is already creating a buzz, Lead stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone made it a point to be present on the occasion. Director Imtiaz Ali and Producer Dinesh Vijan were also present at the event. The promo of the movie was unveiled.
Says a source, “Saif rocked at the event. He spoke about the origin of Illuminati films and a lot more. He entertained everyone present there with his witty humour. Deepika Padukone, Imtiaz Ali and Dinesh Vijan also joined in.â€
“Saif has given a power packed performance in the film. Deepika is outstanding! It is going to be the most talked about film in 2009, for sure. People are already talking about it so much.”
“It was celebration time, no doubt,” added the trade pundit.
The trade analyst added, “There will be three releases every Friday.
And Love Aaj Kal is going to be one of the big budget films to hit the theatres this year. The film has all the masala that go to make the film a hit.” Interestingly, it is practically after a gap of one year that a movie starring Saif will hit the theatres. The source added, “The audience will get to watch Saif after a long time. Plus
Saif and Deepika are coming together for the first time, which is like the surprise element in the movie. Illuminati Films is very careful about the projects that they produce. Love Aaj Kal has a subject that rocks and therefore they are making a start with this film.”
