Kunal Kohli’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic invited controversy owing to its title as it is similar to Saahil Chadha’s Thoda Life Thodi Magic. Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic is scheduled for release on 27th June. Saahil had registered his title about three years back with Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA). Kunal registered his title with Film and Television Producers’ Guild of India. Now, the war of titles is on.
Saahil Chadha discussed the matter with Kunal Kohli but the Yash Raj Films started the promos of the film in full swing and fixed a release date.
The next title war is between Venus’ forthcoming project Kushti, which stars wrestling champion Khali, Anoop Srivastava, a producer. Srivastava says that he has registered the title with IMPPA before Venus. He has also registerd two other titles like Yaaran Di…Kushti and Kushti…Ab Aayega Maza.
The third title war is between Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar has and Anil Kapoor for the title Shortkut. Bhullar registered the title first and Anil conceived the film later. So, anil has now changed his film that stars Akshaye Khanna, Amrita Rao and Arshad Warsi to Shortkut… the con is on.
