Onir’s next is a fun film!

Published on

After a promising ‘My Brother Nikhil’, director Onir’s career kind of fizzled out post one disastrous movie- ‘Bas Ek pal.’ But the man seems to be a fighter and is trying to bounce back with a new film. The new movie ‘Sorry Bhai’ is reportedly a very unusual love triangle between two brothers and a girl.

Sanjay Suri, Sharman Joshi and Chitrangada Singh star in the movie.

Yeah, you heard it right. The same Chitrangada Singh of ‘Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi’ fame who quit because of some issues in her maritial life with hubby golfer Jyoti Randhawa!

This dame showed promise and was even touted as a Smita Patil replacement as many felt she resembled her!

But this movie of hers isn’t dealing with some serious subject and is more on the lighter side. It’s a frothy romantic situational comedy in which a guy falls in love with his brother’s fiancée.

Onir has been quoted as saying, “‘Sorry Bhai’ is about what happens when you fall in love with your brother’s girl friend just before their marriage. No one would like it to happen but it can happen to anyone. Though, the film deals with a very bold subject, I have tried to deal with it in the gentlest way possible. Actually, it is a lighter approach to a serious issue.”

The promotions for the film are going on in full swing. The entire cast including Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani walked the ramp at the just concluded Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.

Wait for November 28 to know if things for Onir, Chitraganda and the rest click or not!
