The life of the slain dacoit will be adopted in a film. The wife of Veerappan was flown in to discuss the film’s storyline with Varma. She seems to be equally thrilled as Varma about the film.

The film will track the life of Verrapan from his teenage to his becoming a sandalwood dacoit. The film will show the childlike behavior of Veerappan that used make his victims remain clueless of his cruel intentions. It will also show the men who killed him. Varma seemed to be impressed by Muthulaxmi as well. He will also tell her story who married a dacoit.

Ram Gopal Varma and Ekta Kapoor will be producing the film. The film will be directed by Prashant Pandey who wrote the story of Sarkar Raj. The film is expected to arouse international audience as well. Varma will cast only newcomers in the film as Prashant Pandey wishes to make the film look realistic. Prashant opines that the audience already knows the story so it has to look natural. Muthulaxmi is also expected to play a part in the film.
