Even though her two latest releases Saawariya and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag failed to create an impression at the box office, Rani is in no mood to be sidelined. She is rocking as an angel in her upcoming film Thoda Pyaar… Thoda Magic.
Rani opines that the failure of Saawariya and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag can be attributed to the fact that it showcased her as restrained character not like her own chirpy and bubbly self. She is not ready to be thrashed by the media saying that, media and film fraternity are complimentary to each other. She doesn’t believe in issuing any clarification for her movies. Rani has always managed to be pretty less available to media and this has always resulted in less gossip.
Rani and Aditya Chopra were said to be hooked together but the dreamy eyed actress isn’t ready to accept anything like that. She states that she needs to discover love like her character in Thoda Pyaar… Thoda Magic. Rani finds it easier to romance shah Rukh on screen because she likes him as a person. Rani attributes the failure of relationships to the fact that people want more love than they can give, which finally leads to arguments and bitterness.
Rani finds love to be such an emotion that cannot be expressed in words. Quite professionally she seems to like mainstream cinema more and a commercial success is of far more valued than a national award. She simply thinks a commercial success reaches the masses. Rani is all set to play a cricket captain in Yash Raj Films’ next project.
Rani quite subtly informs that the younger breed of journalists is irresponsible and this makes her disbelieve the rest of the clan as well. She finds constructive criticism to be of far more importance than destructive ones. Rani doesn’t have much time on her hands to write blogs now. Rani is presently visiting her aunt Debasree Roy.
