Shreyas Talpade at the Unveiling of Golmaal Returns in Cinemax, Versova on 13th September 2008 (2).JPGAbout how it was like for him all dressed up like a woman in yet another movie post Golmaal Returns, Shreyas thanks his luck that it was only for the film. He then adds that he has decided that he won’t do any more ‘female’ roles in the future and that he would leave them for the actresses. “To overcome the trauma of doing this role, it is definately going to take me at least an year.” he says.

He further adds, “It was really very tough to play a woman’s character. After doing these roles, today I have realised just how much time women need to dress and apply their make up! It would take me almost two and a half hours to get ready every day by putting on the jewellery and sari in a particular manner. And they used to call us to get ready first, even before the actresses started their make up. Carrying yourself around with a ghagra or a sari on is hard! The saris in films are so heavy and it’s tough to even walk in them.”

On funny note he signes off saying, “Now, even if I have to wait for 5 hours for my actress to get ready for a shoot, I am now willing to wait.”
