Shweta Bharadwaj, lead actress of Mission Istanbul who was the show stopper for Abdul Halder at the Lakme fashion week, Mumbai walked bravely on the ramp inspite of the fact that she had met with an accident.Shweta had her leg sprained 2 days prior the show while practicing for a dance performance. But as she has always been the show stopper for Abdul Halder, she couldn’t refuse to walk.
When asked Shweta that why did she walk inspite of the leg hurting she said,â€Abdul is my friend and I did not want to spoil his show, I had problems while walking the ramp but I did manage to not let it show. And these kinds of accidents keep happening in our profession, but the show has to move on as you see we can’t disappoint the audienceâ€
True to her words Shweta did not disappoint her audience at Gladrags too. She gave an energetic performance at Gladrags, and performed some stunning acts on stage.
