You are the most highest paid actor in the category of 60 Plus..
So what’s the Big Deal about it?
You still give Tough Competition to other actors, Especially from younger generations..
(Jokes) In that case, I am so sorry for that.
Most of the Actors takes you as an Inspiration, Who is Big B’s inspiration?
I have said it many times Dilip (Kumar) Sahab, Waheeda (Rehman) ji because for the amount of work they have done. And in my personal life, I take my parents as my Inspiration as i have learnt from them a lot.
You have always said in your films “Kanoon ke Haath bahut lambey hotey hain” (Law has Huge hands), Do you really believe in this after the Delhi-Rape case?
Of course yes. But there are different city law’s which has different style of working. As far as Delhi Rape case is concerned, The official report says the Law authorities were present there in just 4 minutes. But i feel, It’s ‘Us’ who needs to change. We will have to change ourselves to bring change in the society.
So was it the Society’s fault here?
It’s very easy to point a finger on someone and say it’s your fault. But we should try to see our fault’s too. We must analyze where we are actually going wrong?
Despite of being Amitabh Bachchan, Have you ever faced disappoint or let-down by our Indian Law?
With the Almighty’s blessings, I have never ever came across a situation where i felt disappointed by Indian Law. But i am connected to the news which helps me keeping updated about the latest happening in the world or society.
What if you come across such situation?
Well, If i come across such situation, I will face the Indian Law with nothing but the ‘Truth’.
What about the Bofor’s issue?
It was in London’s court and I faced it with Truth. Me and my family stood with only one weapon with us which was ‘Truth’. And we won.
And what was your Feeling?
This was the first time when i entered a ‘Witness-Box’ for real, Not like in Films. And as i said earlier, We did not had anything with us but the Truth.
Presently, You also seemed to be a Star in Income-Tax department, What are your feelings?
(Jokes) Death and IT (Income-Tax) can knock your doors any time. And this is the reality check of Life.
How much more do the Audience have to wait to see you back on Big Screen?
There’s a film which is about to start in the end of January. And within the end of 2013, You will be watching my one or two films hopefully.
Why this sudden slow-down?
That was because i went through a small surgery so i didn’t took any assignments. And plus Kaun Banega Crorepati is about to end, After that i will be concentrating more on Films.
