1978 – Roopali Ganguly is an Indian actress. She is a Begali. Daughter of acclaimed film director Anil Ganguli, who has made films like Kora Kagaz. She appeared in Big Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother.

1983 – The Beach Boys were banned from the Fourth of July concert at the White House. U.S. President Ronald Reagan overturned the ban two days later.

1993 – In Beverly Hills, CA, Marky Mark Wahlberg had assault charges against him dropped. He had reached an out-of-court settlement with the man he allegedly beat in 1992.

1993 – Divya Bharti (February 25, 1974 – April 5, 1993) was an Indian actress. On April 5, 1993, Divya fell to her death off a 5-storey apartment building, Tulsi 2 in Mumbai. She started her career in 1990 with Telugu films making her debut in Bobbili Raja. After several other hits in the South she entered Hindi films with ‘Vishwatma’ in 1992. She appeared in more than 14 Hindi films that year which was considered a record at the time for a newcomer. Her career was tragically cut short by her death in April 1993 at the age of 19.
