Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke on Star Plus has really picked up well. The cast and crew are shooting back to back for the episodes and during this one weired incident took place recently on the sets when an old man was got lost during the shoot.
Our Khabroo reports from the sets that, “As the crew was shooting the Maamchand (Shahbaaz Khan) introduction, there was a sequence where an old man is trying to bend down as Maamchand arrives. Since he is old, he is having difficulties in bending completely. But when Nirbhay (Manish Wadhwa) casts a look on him, he immediately leaves his staff and falls on the ground.â€
“The first part of the sequence was shot before the lunch break. As the unit broke for lunch, the old man – a native who doesn’t understand anything about shooting norms like continuity etc, left thinking his job was over,†adds the source.
The absence of the old man after the lunch break created a huge hullabaloo on the sets. “Since the old man was in the shot before, he couldn’t have been replaced with another old man. Then began the search for the old man throughout the scorching Bheeta Gaon in Allahabad where this was being shot, but not a sign of the old man anywhere.â€
“The crew had to search through 5 neighboring villages, without even knowing the name of the old man, just a faint picture of him in their mind. They finally found the old man in a nearby village and then they could resume the shoot,†concludes the source.
Thus it is said that ‘All’s well that ends well’…
