Aadar Jain, Yashraj Film’s new talent is all set with release of his debut film Qaidi Band. Aadar and his leading lady in the film Anya Singh have started promotion of the film. In their first media interaction, Aadar stated that apart from acting, he has dream of becoming a director.
Talking about his interest in direction, Aadar said, “I have dream of becoming a director because I have been an assistant director in films and during that time I used to observe everything on the set like how a DOP (director of photography) frames a shot, how lighting is done, how director gives direction and how actor takes it and act so I want to do all this and I also want to write a story as well but as of now, I just want to act. I will think about directing a movie in the future.
Talking about Qaidi Band in which he plays character of under trial prisoner, Aadar said, “I don’t know how jail’s life is. It’s very hard and dangerous place to be in. My character name in the film is Sanju. He is a guy with big hopes and emotions. He is outspoken, tough and street smart kind of a guy and after of spending so much time in jail he has learned everything”
Talking about his inspiration in the industry, Aadar said, “I have been huge fan of my grandfather Raj Kapoor. I have watched all his films while growing up and that time I realized how great man he was as his contribution to Indian cinema has been immense. Apart from him, I really like Shah Rukh Khan as I have worked with him in Happy New Year as assistant director. It’s been nice learning experience watching him work so hard on a film. I have also worked with Ranbir bhaiya in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as an assistant to Karan Johar. He is also one of the finest actor that we have today so I picked up lot of things from them.”
Qaidi Band is directed by Habib Faisal and it is releasing on 25 August, 2017.
