Sasi Kumar denies the title of ‘Nagaram’

“Making a film in city backdrops doesn’t stand as right reason to give a title ‘Nagaram‘ (meaning ‘city’ in English),” says Sasi Kumar.

The filmmaker-producer-actor is all set to kick-start his next project based on the lives of 10 youngsters in Chennai. Perhaps, this is the first time Sasikumar makes a film in metropolitan city as his previous flicks were filmed in Madurai and surrounding regions.

Speaking about the film, Sasi Kumar says,

“Yes, a filmmaker shouldn’t get himself adhered to same-patterned ideas and must experiment with different motifs. This untitled film will be shot completely in Chennai and will offer a different experience for the audiences.”

The film will have director Samuthirakani enacting a prominent role and he has been putting-up more weight as his role demands him to be so.

Shooting is expected to hit the floors somewhere in November.
