I Am Being Myself in October – Varun Dhawan

Published on

Varun Dhawan graced the trailer launch of his first outing with Shoojit Sircar, also starring debutante Banita Sandhu.

Talking about the film and his role, which is quite different than his earlier releases, Varun said, “This film is based on honesty. I couldn’t remove my shirt, couldn’t act cute, nothing, so I had to be me”
Varun Dhawan also added that he needed this film in his career right now regardless of anyone saying anything. He said, “No matter what people say but I need this film more than anyone else in my career”
Judwaa 2 actor Varun also shared his view on Shah Rukh Khan‘s statement that actors should reduce their film. Dhawan agreed with SRK that creative part of the film should be focused.
He said, “I think it’s true. He also produces his own films also so he is creatively also involved. One of the pioneers as an actor and what he is saying it is true about the money part. The money should not control the creative part of the film. It would be better the more money you invent on films and script. And I think you can work that out”
The movie October, revolves around Dan (Varun) exploring his love for Shiuli (Banita) while she is in the hospital facing some disease which has affected her memory. Dan, shattered with this incident, leaves everything aside and stays with Shiuli in the hospital with a hope she will recognize him.
The movie is slated for 13th April 2018 release.
