Cafe Coffee Day founder VG Siddhartha’s sudden and untimely demise has shocked everyone. His body has been discovered after missing for a day and B-town celebrities are in shock.
The founder of VG Siddhartha went missing yesterday, when he went out for a walk and never returned. Authorities teamed up with local search teams and recovered his body from the river.
Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker just took to her social media profile and expressed her shock in two parts tweet. She wrote, “Quite heartbreaking! #CafeCoffeeDay changed our notion of ‘hanging out’ and changed what our post school/college day looked like…not to mention changed what a dating looked like! I’m not a finance expert but this is so sad!”
She wrote again, “OMG Noooooo!!!!! So so tragic! May he #RIP #VGSiddhartha #CafeCoffeeDay”
Filmmaker Hansal Mehta also slammed authorities for pushing someone to the point of breaking. He wrote, “#VGSiddhartha Sad end. Succumbed to disease of doing business in India”
The body of VG Siddhartha, founder of India’s largest coffee chain Cafe Coffee Day, was found today morning. Siddhartha, who is the son-in-law of former Karnataka CM and BJP leader SM Krishna, had been missing since Monday evening.
According to reports, Siddhartha had gotten off from his car near this bridge on Monday evening but failed to return after an hour. A panicked driver went down looking for him, but could not find him anywhere. He then alerted the family members, who in turn informed the police.
Teams of NDRF, Coast Guard, Home Guard, fire services and coastal police along with fishermen on Tuesday scoured the waters to find Siddhartha’s body.
