Shahid Kapoor‘s brother Ishaan Khatter was spotted at the trailer launch of “Beyond The Clouds” here in Mumbai. During his media interaction the newbie actor stated he would like to do films with strong message.
Talking about his future choices of films, Ishaan said, “I would want to do films which have strong message. I have a lot of favourite actors and films. I can’t name all of them. But I would love to do powerful cinema.”
The trailer for Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s first Indian film Beyond The Clouds is out and looks promising. The movie stars South Indian actor Malavika Mohanan and debutant Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles.
Though the film is offbeat and comes from a renowned noir filmmaker, seems like an odd choice for debut in film industry, but actor Ishaan begs to differ. He said, “”I had no thoughts about it that the film is an off beat one. You’ll realize when you will watch the film”
Further adding, Ishaan also said, “An inspiring actor does have a dream of what kinda film he wants and it’s an ideal film. It’s a special feeling and well, as an actor you want a film and a director that has a strong foundation.”
Ishaan also spoke about taking help and suggestions from mother Neelima Azim, Brother Shahid Kapoor and Karan Johar.
He said, “I took my mom’s (Neelima Azim) suggestion for the film and then it was my brother Shahid Kapoor that I went to. Shahid said that just listen to your heart. Then I asked Karan Johar too because I am also doing Dhadak. I told him I feel strongly for the film and he asked me to do it”
Apart from Beyond The Clouds, actor Ishaan Khatter will be soon be seen in commercial Bollywood drama movie, Dhadak, opposite Jhanvi Kapoor.
Dhadak is an upcoming romantic drama film based on 2016 Marathi language film Sairat. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film is slated for 20th July 2018 release.
