Jackie Shroff Joins Bharat – Ali Abbas Zafar

The Ensemble of Bharat is getting bigger and better by the minute. The movie stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover and now the filmmaker Ali Abbas confirms that bindass-bhidu, Jackie Shroff is also on-board.

The anticipation surrounding the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ seems to be growing with each passing day. And now adding to the peaking audience interest in the film, Jackie Shroff is all set to play Salman’s father in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial.
Confirming Shroff’s addition to the film’s star cast, Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted, “Welcome to @Bharat_TheFilm @bindasbhidu :)”
Filmmaker Ali shared some candid pictures with Jackie Shroff on social media.
The story of ‘Bharat’ will span over 60 years and Salman Khan will be seen in different as per the different eras. Disha Patani is said to be playing trapeze artist in the film, while Salman will reportedly be seen performing daredevil stunts.
The team ‘Bharat’ wrapped up the Mumbai schedule of the film post which they took off to Malta, which will be followed by Abu Dhabi schedule.
Bharat is an official adaptation of 2014 Korean film, ‘Ode to My Father’ which depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man.
The film releases on June 2019.
