Actress Disha Patani said that she hasn’t been approached to be part of ‘Housefull 4’ on the sidelines promotions with co-star Tiger Shroff for her upcoming film ‘Baaghi 2’ on Thursday.
Reports suggested Disha was been approached to be part of ‘Housefulll 4’ refuting those reports, Disha said, “Nobody has approached me for that film. He (Sajid Nadiadwala) is the producer of Baaghi 2 so, I don’t want to say anything. I think it’s all about the role. If my role is good and very few people know that I am actually very good with comedy in my house and not in the films. I am very good.
Comedy is something that I want to discover in the future when I am more confident with my acting. Because I still have inhibitions regarding comedy and overacting but I would love to do it depending upon how my role will be in the film.”
Houseful 4 is produced by ‘Baaghi 2’ producer Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sajid Khan.
Baaghi 2 is Disha’s 3rd film since her debut in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’, so when asked Disha why she is taking slow steps in terms of signing films, she said, It’s not about taking it slow, it about signing a right film. I don’t have anyone to shield me so if my film doesn’t work, I don’t know if I will get another chance so, any step that I take have to be very careful and at least I should like it more than anyone else because you can’t predict any film’s success or failure so at least I should be happy that I did it and I am proud of it so I am just waiting for right kind of films”
There were speculations that Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani are seeing each other but there was no confirmation on that from both sides so when asked Disha whether Tiger suggested her name to the maker of Baaghi 2, she said, “I wish someone had suggested me for something and media should ask him about it but if you have a producer like Sajid Nadiadwala, I don’t think anyone can suggest anything because he is the boss”
Talking about her upcoming projects, Disha said, “I am doing South film called ‘Sanghmitra’. It’s a tri-lingual film. It will require a lot of work because it’s a tri-lingual film but it’s a great film that’s why I have a good feeling after signing it”
Baaghi 2 is an action film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in lead roles.
It is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi. The film is scheduled for release on 30 March 2018.
