“Akshay Kumar is driven, dedicated and professional” say Bhumi Pednekar about her National Award winner co-star Akshay Kumar from upcoming “Toilet Ek Prem Katha”.
Bhumi Pednekar started off her career with “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” which bought her name and fame. Now the actress is all set with her second movie, Toilet Ek Prem Katha with Akshay Kumar and hails the “Rustom” star an example for a newbie like her.
“Toilet Ek Prem Katha is a very special film for me. I can easily say that the shooting for the film has been the best experience in my life, yet. Akshay Kumar is a great example for someone like me, it is my second film”
“When you see someone like him, who has been here for 25 years and done hundreds of films, he is so driven, dedicated and professional. He still so excited about being on set and killing everyone scene he does to his upmost capacity. I am very inspired by him and it was just fantastic working with him” said Bhumi Pednekar about working with Khiladi Kumar.
The film is a satirical comedy film incorporates Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India.
Talking about picking socially relevant subject, Bhumi credits her upbringing in socially aware environment.
“I am extremely lucky because one rarely get a chance in their entire career to be part of such a movie. The kind of person that I am, I think I’ve grown-up in socially aware environment, from a very young we’re taught our responsibilities towards our society and country. So I have an affinity to chose films that are entertaining and at the same time have some sort of message” said Bhumi.
Shree Narayan Singh directorial opens in theatres on 11 August 2017.
