KriArj Entertainment’s founder Prerna Arora said that Akshay Kumar is lucky mascot of KirArj Entertainment.
Akshay Kumar has worked with KriArj entertainment’s successful films like ‘Rustom’, ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Pad Man’ talking about KriArj Entertainment’s association with Akshay Kumar, Arjun N Kapoor said, “Akshay sir is our lucky mascot, mentor, guide and everything actually. We are thankful to him for being with us till now and we would request him to be with us all the way through”
Recently, Kriarj Entertainment announced one more film with AKshay Kumar after release of ‘Pad Man’, talking about it, Prerna said, “Yes.. We are working with Akshay (Kumar) sir for sure. We will be doing two films now because there is five film deal which we had with Akshay sir so that’s where we are. We will reveal the name of the film as soon as Akshay sir is ready to speak about it”
KriArj Entertainment’s founder Arjun N Kapoor and Prerna Arora threw party for success of their past releases ‘Rustom’, ‘Toilet –Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Pad Man’ on Monday in Mumbai.
KriArj Entertainment moved to the Bombay High Court on Saturday to reinforce its right on the film ‘Kedarnath’.
While KriArj Entertainment representatives have blamed Kapoor’s unprofessional behavior and mismanagement as the reason for constant delay in the movie, Kapoor’s representative has stated there was lack of transparency in KriArj Entertainment’s financial dealings.
When asked about reason for court battle for ‘Kedarnath’, Prerna said, “Right now everything shall be taken care of. We are seeking justice from the high court and at the same time there could be moves to come together and make the film. Anything can happen so it’s too early for us to comment it. ‘Kedarnath’ is our film. We tried to figure out right way to do things in very classy and elegant way. We are nobody to speak on anybody individually but we are waiting for court procedure”
The ugly tussle between director Abhishek Kapoor and his Kedarnath producers has gotten tense. Abhishek, no stranger to cast replacement, has reportedly approached Vicky Kaushal of Masaan fame, to replace Sushant Singh Rajput. The reason? Sushant refused to block any more unused dates for Kedarnath. So when asked Prerna whether Sushant Singh Rajput is being replaced from ‘Kedarnath’, Prerna said, “No.. Sushant (Singh Rajput) is hero of the film as long as ‘Kedarnath’ remains”.
KriArj Entertainment has till now produced successful films like ‘Rustom’, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Pad Man’, talking about success of their production house, Arjun N Kapoor said, “Prerna was always confident and had large vision but as we stated our journey with ‘Rustom’ then we started seeing the potential and it just a beginning for us and we have long journey to go”
Thanking media for their support Prerna said, “We are thankful for media for supporting us always because three film of us has been released and now fourth one is about to release so we never threw a success party but we will throw a success party hopefully after success of ‘Pari’ for entire film industry as well as for the media”
When asked Prerna whether they are planning to work with newcomers, Prerna said, “We will definitely work with newcomers because it’s all about talent today. Firstly, we need to establish our self to support others. Right now, we are working with lot of new directors but in coming future we will be working with new actors as well”
When asked Prerna whether are planning to produce content on digital platform, she said, “No.. as of now, we are only focusing on making films. We don’t have idea about that”
KriArj Entertainment upcoming films include ‘Pari’, ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’, ‘Fanney Khan’, ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ and ‘Kedarnath’.
